Actually for those who has been thru NS , will have to fill up a survey form whether we will fight for SAF, from what I know most of us tick no , for a country that is so unfair , we have no sense of patriotism , you think those scholar with their 5 figure salary will lay down their life ... i dun think so

but using "this guy is not going to fight" as an excuse is weak. I don't know who will fight or not, but i do know that if i fight, i am not fighting for them. I am fighting for the people in my coutry.

It's not even a country to me, more like a place for profiteering. It's a huge corporation.
Don't feel anything with regards to the words patriotism and national spirit.
I am a global citizen. But in part, Singapore is proud of producing global workers, so I think our govt has no complaints about me feeling that way.

If Malaysia come and invade singapore, i think the chances of winning is really very slim. Given that we need their supply of water to survive. We are so small. If they come and bomb us everyday, we would become a piece of flat land and most of us have nowhere to run.
Nevertheless, till the end of war, we wouldn't know the result till the war is over.
Nowadays, war is played on a different ground and more subtle. Institutions who control the money's supply is the one who control the world.
