One of my friends told me that he considered himself a "nomad", someone who doesn't have a fixed home and just wanders around from place to place.
I asked him don't he consider Singapore his home?
He replied that everytime he steps out of his house, the feeling that he gets is that this isn't his country, it doesn't belong to him and he doesn't belong here.
I think more and more people will start to think this way.
No leh, i walk out, see the PRC gals, thais and vietnam gals all very friendly to me, we talks and laughs, even these foreign gals feel like they are at home. What nomad in Singapore??? u dun talk cock hor

Look at your IC and you got an identity, look at the scenery, foods and people like me and you got your belonging, and since we are from different roots, we should take PAP as our main root, cos like it or not, they have govern us for the past 40 years ++, as for culture, we posting here with scolding, challenging, joking and argueing is also part of our culture. U talk cock again hor

Sigh, it is inevitable to have FTs here. IN fact, they are everywhere in the world. It depends very much on how the govt in different countries care about how to protect the rice bowls of their people.

And i dun mind guys here telling me off, cos i know deep inside them, they know what i am talking.
But your way of doing things only serves to antagonize people, which is not your objective according to what you tell me.
I can tell you that your way is a form of extremism that will not get any listening ears. No one will want to listen to you, when you stereotype unnecessarily.
Either way, that's all I am going to say, coz I don't think I can achieve my objective of making you comprehend what I mean, so I will stop here.
from what I observed her motive is to antagonize people and to attract attention to herself.

All the more you guys should not get offended and not start using words like "whore".
I feel that we should keep it mature, even if she doesn't respect herself, we should not disrespect her.

u very funny, that is the phrase used. Saw this many times and someone used it here and I questioned him and he told me it is a phrase used to describe attention seeker. There is always a limit to everything. I have tried respecting her before but does not work. She is a spoilt brat who cannot be bothered about others.

And I respect you guys who contribute. So just hope we can keep it gentlemanly. :)
There is this one other forumer who insist that using words like f**k is ok on forum. I don't feel like correcting him coz he is very immature, and posts one-liners all over the place, and can't contribute well to arguments.

At best it is a short term solution... you really think that importing foreigners into this small island to boost the economy is a sustainable option?
Another "for self interests" policy of the cursed despot and his running dogs.

sure, look at MRT and those food courts, business is so good, and me too, my pub also need to import foreign beers and employ more peoples so as to make them happier, so far as i see it, it created jobs for singaporeans too, and bring more business to SME business like mine. For sustainability, it is a matter of how much our small island can hold, not a matter of economy and politics and jealousy
oi/...what does a bar owner know about politics?
if that is the case, then the pm must be a gifted supermarket owner.
might as well get a pork butcher and a chicken rice stall owner to run your constituency.
our advanced technology to propel singapore into the 21st century will be lost forever!
we will laggggg all the way behind and have an industry and leader same as cambodia, chad, laos and Sentosa.

think we shouldn't mix up politicians with technocrates. We need technocrates to be politicians, but we don't need all politicians to be technocrates.
pork butcher and chicken rices stall owners can also be our MP, if they listen to the people, discern what should be brought up to the government. The question is whether they have supporters.
Do we support a politicians because they have 4 As in A level?
to sgdie hard:
pork butchers n frends might be yer employer but certainly not politicians....why????
it is the mind training by years of education to see if they can take streesss n punishment when exposed to non-chicken rice and pork chop problems.
years of maths and science will see if they can reasin logically.
great emphasis on maths to see if the person is born with the capability to lead and think straight n proper...it describes the logic of a person....eg 2+2=5)if small mistakes are commited and u get killed because of simple basic system...then that person is not trained in the mind...or worse not born with it.
do u get Rambo and train him or was he born with it?
ans:he must be born with it......the trainin and education trims and makes him to a rambo.if rambo goes to war with no trainin in weapons then he dies.and if rambo wasnt born like a rambo and just has trainin...he also dies...then there wont be rambo 2 ,rambo 3 and rambo 4.he will just die in episode 1 in some police station.
so that answers pork n chicken story

It is therefore very important for the govt to syncronise the culture shock our fellow singaporeans is at time, suffering from influx of foreign talents. Many a time, i see the less graceful lots of foreign talents than a graceful one, not only to talents from PRC or Indian, even those from Europe and State.
My Dad said the real talented and well groomed ones are not here, we can only attract the 3rd or 4 tiers of the world talents, and these are usually drop out or just make it talents looking for a place to show their power and talents. Once you label a foreigner a talent, psychologically speaking, he stoods proud and look down on us or the old singaporeans, when he forget that these old peoples are the our nation builders. To them, as I spoke to some, it is a hit and run scenarios, they got nothing to loose but more to gain, given a job, a citizenship or PR status, they roamed singapore as tho they are the elite and most wanted.
Well, I do not blame them, afterall they are invited, and as invited guests, they assume to be well and better treated on a higher level.
Synchornise Culture Shock?
Yah, this is something which i realise... Foreigners in singapore, when they are in a group, they will only mix with their own group. They don't even bothered to mix with locals here.
I do ask myself... if i am working in another country with some of the locals here, do i mix more with my own country people or the other country people?
From what your dad says... "we can only attract the 3rd or 4 tiers of the world talents, and these are usually drop out or just make it talents looking for a place to show their power and talents."...seems like Singapore is not only a place for them to make money but for them to boost their EGOs!

As a foreigner, he/she tends to boost ego, same as when you go visit other countries, but at work there is nothing to be ego about, pyschologically, foreigners tends to behave in a egostic way in the public. That is naturally, imagine those high head indian can come and bluff me that their road is better than ours, and that all their cars are europe big cars,,,..well, i just watch and laugh at their funny booasting and ego character.

Is there a need for you to impose what you think is right or appropriate on others? If you mind so much, go approach moderator. REquest moderator to do something to people like me and others.
