Sigh...why is there so much hatred?
Are we all starving, depraved of sustainance here on our island by anyone?
Hate only leads to destruction, why destroy when we can do better by building? Alphahydrae, I cant blame you for being baited by boliaow clods like Manix, who spends his time bashing the govt for his own failures, to protect your nationalism.
Rest assured not many thinks like him or his kind, same as not many of your kind think badly of us Singaporeans. Let him rot and his tongue hang out. He and his kind will not influence an iota of public opinion with their diatribe and philosophy of hate.
We singaporeans know what is hate, and what is discrimination. No more will the sane and upright citizens allow it to happen again as it did to our immigrant forefathers and abandoned citizens of thieving colonials during the darkest period of their lives in a world war.
I am certainly not proud of what Manix and his kind says. I weep in their lack and failure of our education that had produced so many more upright citizens, working hard in these bad times to propel and better our society, and had overlooked these people.
If they need help, govt and charity organisations stand ready to help, with our society funds so that they may not starve, through upgrading and more opportunities, not to just live on handouts.
There is no need to simply push blame to the govt or society for one's failure. If issues are more complex than surface reading, than it needs more serious and genuine studies to find the fault, localize and correct, something our society had been doing since our independence.
We had not stop improving, young as a nation that we are, to make our country a better place to live in for all of us.
at least they can stop asking for illegal donations
please no war or hate.we dont choose where we want to born.if so, we already choose to born in ... err maybe Canada or Sweden?A much better country to stay then here?
We are all equal because we are human being who have the brain to think. We are not animals. But our stupid racist and ego mind create all the unequalness among us.
Be it Philippine or Singapore, our main goal is to have peace, earn our money and have enough to put rice bowl on the table. We don't hate foriegners, we only hate bad and self-fish people. If i am going to meet some Singaporeans who are such a self-fish idiots but meet another group foriegners who are gracious enough to be selfishless, i will 100% want those selfishless foriegners to stay in Singapore and ask that selfish idiot Singaporean to fxxx off from our country. :)
Look things at inside not outside.. all my friends here!

Yeah, its people like you who foolishly try to preserve the current status quo that are boh liao. Wait till your offspring go around collecting rubbish and cans for a living then you will realise that you been conned.
You can join Lionnoisy and create the "PAP Govt can do no wrong" group. Lets see how many more foolish and blinded people will join you.

Yes. It all makes sense. That's why we are also blaming them the same thing as you blaming your government. I'll allow you to say that since it's true. Just don't generalize it to all Filipinos since not all are like them. That is why I am not generalizing all Singaporeans to be like you since I know not all are like you. The rest are better in different ways. You, you cant fit in the puzzle no matter how I squeeze you in. You are not worth calling a Singaporean since Singaporeans I know are good people.
I will always be part of the puzzle, like it or not, I spend most of my life here, and did the responsibilities that is demanded as a citizen. Its not up to you to decide whether i should be Singaporean or not. When the time comes, my blood and the blood of other Singaporeans will bleed, You would probably jump to the next sampan or fishing trawler and wait for US or UN intervention like the rest of the FT cowards.
I dont need a 16 year old to tell me what is wrong or right. All i want is my Govt to give precedence to SIngaporeans rather than foreigners. Is that so much to ask? And yeah i would always put other Singaporeans regardless of race ahead of foreigners.
I understand your plea. But does it have to reach that you criticize Filipinos and their stupid leaders? And besides, at first, I was not talking about the politics or the government of Singapore. I was talking about how the people in the first pages of this thread treated Filipinos. Actually, there was no conflict between us, you just mislead both of us to somewhere we did not want to be in.
If you don't need me to tell you what's wrong or right, then act like you know it already!

Look, if you have personal problems or are facing problems, I encourage you to talk about it, and let us try to help you constructively, or direct you to the right areas where you can be offered better help than what we can.
Personal issues can be resolve as long as there is a will for change.
If you are speaking up on behalf of society, I applaud your civil efforts, but the manner you are doing is only polarising it and causing more harm than good, using discrimination to achieve your ends.
Discrimination is an anathema to humanity and believing that the louder you are, the more you will be able to change perceptions is utter stupidity. We are no longer the ignorant adults our kept stupid by the theiving brits were. We are able to rationalise better now, so please, do not insult our intelligence.
I see the poor in our country. I am not blind. But there is only how much I can help. My funds are limited. But together as a society, you and I can contribute more. And for that to happen, your help is needed to power our economy, and thru our combined funds, we will be able to help more.
So, what is your problem?

So, what is your problem?
Yeah, i have a problem with the PAP Government trampling over people's rights.
Not much of a problem for me cause i am not based here. More for my fellow citizens and my relatives.
So do you have a solution, Doctor Feelgood? Or are you just spouting rainbows and daisies?

Ah....a foreigner then who do not live in our country attempting to shove his perceptions down the throats of my fellow citizens. That is your right I suppose, in this modern era freedom of speech, which is also a right you claimed ..er...trampled.
Solutions? Only if you are willing to become a citizen in my country, excercise your right as a citizen to take the vote, which you er..generalised as being trampled.
Shall I in similar vein retort and call you contemptous names and regard you with equal contempt, but that would bring me down to your either childish or utter blind stupidity level, wouldnt it?

Foreigner? I was fuckin born here and did NS, all of 2.5 years. WTF are you talking about!
My job takes me places. The Government policies hit me little cos i got paid in US dollars. My house is still here even though i come back once in awhile. Hell even my laptop is set to Singapore Time.
Look before you shoot, Doctor Feelgood

My job takes me places. Thats all. My home is here and will always be.
Pardon then, if you are indeed a fellow citizen. But still, you had not been specific. What rights had you or your fellow citizens or relatives' rights had been trampled on that you cannot show convincing evidence, change minds, and vote against?
The very fact that we are unable to change our Government democratically and the fact that we have to take all the laws and choices of the Government without a fight is what irks me.
True, i might not be marginallized or living below the poverty line. But during my walks along the beach in Changi and West Coast and seeing all those people living in tents or old aunties bending over backwards carrying a sack of cans and waiting patiently for a person to finish his drink so that she could take his can pisses me off. There must be a better way to help them.
I wonder sometimes whether we vote in a Government to serve their interests or ours. It seems to be the former to me.

Then it is only your perceptions. But are they true, for example - "unable to change our Government democratically"? It's your vote and your choice, but ultimately, no one in our equal society stand above anyone else.
We may like someone, but we still have the freedom to an honest vote count, and whomever gets the majority votes, get to administer our country. How than can we blame our fellow citizens if they choose someone else to lead instead of ours, unless we deny the majority and trampled on their vote and villify them?
It is good you care about the poor. But the money will have to come from us all as a society. Are you prepared to make such sacrifices, or perhaps spend more time and effort on education and experimentation to give the poor better working opportunities, by convincing peasant minded bosses, so that the poor may not live on charity but on an honest day labour?

My vote doesnt really matter. Tell me, why impose a $13500 dollars deposit just to stand election? And if you dont get a certain amount of votes you wont get the money back.
At this rate, only millionaires can afford to stand for public office, While other countries there are even paupers who can do so without forking out large amount of cash.

Singaporeans are choosy.
That's why they cannot get jobs.
Really.

I pity you. I pity you and your kind. Some of them even claimed to be scholars, tarnishing the very institutions that taught them, in not even being able to look beyond their prejudices, allowing their hatred to blind their judgement.
Isnt it blatantly obvious to you why a $13, 500 deposit is required? Simply put, elections are serious affairs, for the elected representatives will be the ones to collect views from their constituents and debate on policies that will be passed as laws once approved, affecting society as a whole, for the next 4-5 years till the next elections.
If an elected political party have a majority of MPs in Parliament, they will be the ones to form the government, lead and guide the nation for the next 4-5 years.
Do you want clowns to stand for election? And if by the chance they get elected by default ( anything can happen ), we will be ruled by clowns. Isnt so bad, come to think of it, at least they will be entertaining, keeping us in mirth as the nation sinks thru their clownish acts in parliament, more show than substance to elevate livehoods.
And think of the votes that will be split between serious contenders and clowns. Not all will vote rationally. Some will vote for the best calibre leader. Some will vote along racial lines. Some will simply vote the opposite candidate just out of spite. When more clowns appear, majority votes will become a close and narrow fight. Again, do you want clowns running the country?
$13,500 is to ensure the seriousness of candidates, not to waste citizen's time but to propose solutions that will solve citizen's problems, and get elected. If not, their money will be forfeited and placed in our treasury.
Therefore, the money is only at best a token sum, easily affordable to any serious working citizen who has the virtue of setting aside part of his money as savings. So far since independence, it had not stop even clowns from standing for elections.
selfish is the philipinos, lazy is black people. and fussy is burmese.

*fake degree and speak rotten english? are you kidding me? You can't even spell "Filipinos" correctly. Do you want one on one english debate with Filipino? Lai.. lai.. You should be ashamed of yourslef. Before judging other people, see yourself first if you have the right to say things which will only make a shame of yourself.
your mother suck your short cock? wah too bad. cheebye short guy, fark off short ninja you are ---> this would be your english probably. Full of unwanted words.

Well you have your own deluded ideas, i have mine. I dont need your pity. Perhaps you need mine cause your eyes are not open wide to see.

Do you even know what you are writing? Sigh.....
Enough with the pity then. I have no intention of making fun of you, for I can see there is still good in you. Do open my eyes wide please, for your delusions, if you feel i need your pity. I seriously do, if we citizens end up hurting each other for no reason. We can help one another instead of fighting or flaming each other.
That's what a forum is for - discussion, and hopefully in a civil and logical manner. When we start abusing each other, that's when clouded judgement appears. It destroys understanding and comprehension.
Yeah, Yeah. Sing Kumbaya around the fire while the ambers turn into flames and the flames turn into a raging inferno. Do hold hands while you are at it.
