How many people still think that going to school is to LEARN, not to get a 'nice looking' certificate?
Students have been controlled by the way employer judge on a fresh graduate. They want those with good academic record, and ignore those with worse. Therefore, students 'chiong' all the time just to aim for good result, with any methods that they can do...It's seems like that is the natural way, but is the certificate really have enough information to judge a student??
There are so many different types of students:
1. Ideal: Good in practical and theoritical
2. Cheat: No idea in practical works, just copy, thus have more time for examination
3. Just learn: Good in practical, and willing to spend more time exploring. Think exam is boring and not challenging.
If you are the employer, will you choose 2 or 3?
The education system in Singapore have to be changed!
Im no.2 and i dun even bother to study... but still pass exams.
