The response to his request to the police was hardly satisfactory, Hartono said. “What the police did is unclear,� he said. “They didn’t refuse my report but they didn’t really accept it either. The officer said he wanted to talk with his commander first.� Asked what help he expected the police to provide given the jurisdictional considerations, Hartono said he still believed the police could help him uncover the true circumstances surrounding his son’s death. “As of today, there has been no statement from Singaporean authorities or NTU about David’s autopsy results. It’s been more than a month since his death.� He said the Singaporeans claimed that David died after committing suicide, but Hartono said he did not believe this. “I want the police and the government to help investigate my son’s case because his death was peculiar,� Hartono said. “If David committed suicide by jumping from a building on the university campus, he would have suffered numerous fractures, but in fact he only sustained bruises.� David, whose nickname was Ming Ming, had just had his academic scholarship revoked before stabbing his professor, Chan Kap Luk Chan — from NTU’s division of information engineering — who is reportedly recovering from injuries to his back and finger. David was an enthusiastic computer gamer and was known as outgoing, according to livinalife.blogspot.com, where friends gave testimony on the student and revealed that he had stopped communicating with friends about a week before his death. The Straits Times newspaper reported that David had been struggling with his final-year project, and that his academic performance had dropped off. National Police spokesman Brig. Gen.   This is very sad indeed. First the Singapore authority claimed that David cut his wrist but there was no cut wound to his wrists according to the family. Then the auhtority claimed that David commited suicide by jumping off the campus roof but there was only bruises on his body according to his family. This all are as reported in Indonesian daily, Kompas.

   

  Plus in weeks after david's death 2 associate professors of PRC national in NTU has died tragically.

  One hung himself in his apartment while the other was hit by a car while walking to the campus.

   

  Now if you read the following threat that was made by a Singapore police officer,

  Unless you have proof that it really happened, use the word allerdedly, if you want to post that a police officer said the things at the end of your post. No one will disturb you if you post stuff with evidence.

   

  You mention there is no wounds on the wrist of the crazy guy who killed himselves. Got evidence?

  You wanted to link the case to the two dead guys. What is your reason for linking? Or is it more baselesss accusations?

  frankly, i am more interested about the above newsline than the story TS posted. Who cares the what happen there, no head no tail about foreign student and foreign professor, me bother more on singapore economy and lay offs situation.

   

  I thot TS dun favour foreigns here, how come now he support them.
