Don't piss off the Israelis, if you cannot defend yourself.
What is the purpose of mentioning these websites and photos...?
I think you need to understand the conflict in the middle east is very far removed and very irrelevant to people in Asia and people in Singapore.
I think you need to understand the conflict in the middle east is very far removed and very irrelevant to people in Asia and people in Singapore.
Then why Malaysians and Indonesians are making big fuss about it?
I dont think so, even for them, they make only a little fuss.
The ones who really and truly care about it are the Arabs.
And I dont think the people in Singapore care about it.
And I dont think the people in Singapore care about it.
I am a Singaporean and I care about it.
The ones who really and truly care about it are the Arabs.
I don't think so.
Malaysians and Indonesians all care about it.
You can't deny that fact.
You don't care about it that is your business, don't make unfounded statements.
Lol....
OK....
lol....you make me laugh sometimes....
Nothing to counter so laugh?
That is actually quite healthy.
Laughter is the best medicine as they say.
Not sure if I should.
Lol.....
Not sure if I should.
yes, singaporeans care about it. just look at the number of singaporeans who declare they care about it.
malaysians and indonesians care about it. that's why they are boycotting american goods, and you can't find McDonalds or any american movies in malaysia anymore... that shows how much they care.
By the way, i don't really care about it that much.

*Intifada, from Arabic literature, meaning “a jumping up” (in reaction to something), from the verb intafada “to be shaken, shake oneself.”
Around the world people took to the streets outraged by the
scenes of death and destruction in the Gaza Strip that began when
Israel bombarded the coastal territory on 27 December. The below images
were sent to The Electronic Intifada from around the world and document
various actions, demonstrations and vigils in solidarity with Gazans
under siege.

SINGAPORE'S Muslim community on Friday urged all parties in the Gaza conflict to work towards ending the conflict.
Islamic religious leaders made the call during Friday prayers, as they read a sermon prepared by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore's Office of the Mufti.
'As a community that appreciates peace and values harmony, we urge all parties involved in this crisis to work seriously towards ending this cycle of violence.
'The situation will only worsen if parties involved refuse to find a peaceful settlement,' read the five-page sermon...
Mercy Relief links with 2 UN agencies for humanitarian relief to Gaza
Mercy
Relief (MR) has obtained the fundraising permit from the Commissioner
of Charities (Permit no: 0002/2009) to raise funds in support of the
international humanitarian community’s relief efforts in and around
Gaza. The permit will run for one month from 10 January - 9 February
2009.
It has always been MR’s modus operandi to personally
deliver or oversee the delivery of aid to affected areas. This current
case is no different.
MR has been communicating directly with
the World Food Programme (WFP), the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA)
and the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC) to consult and explore the most
effective form of support that MR can provide. Both UN agencies and the
ERC welcomed MR’s offer of support and have agreed to receive and
facilitate the delivery of MR’s donations and relief supplies to the
affected locations within Gaza.
This is not the first time that
MR is working with the UN agencies. It has worked closely with UN
agencies such as UN OCHA, UNDP, WHO, Unicef, WFP and IOM in Aceh
tsunami, Nias earthquake, Muzaffarabad earthquake and cyclone Nargis in
Myanmar.
MR understands from UNRWA that the delivery of
humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip will resume as
soon as possible. The announcement came after UNRWA received assurances
from Israeli officials that attacks on UN schools and vehicles would
not continue. UNRWA, which had been delivering food to up to a million
Gazans during past 8 months of Israeli blockade, suspended its
operations in the region last Thursday after one of its truck drivers
was killed in an Israeli strike on an aid convoy.
This will not
be MR’s first assistance to Palestine. It previously worked with the El
Wafa hospital in Gaza in 2003, providing an ambulance and medical
supplies worth SGD 383,000.

SINGAPORE, Jan 11 – A phone text message making its rounds among Singaporeans has been calling for the boycott of McDonald’s fast-food outlets and the Starbucks coffee chain, claiming the two American companies are financially supporting the Israeli offensive in Gaza.
The message claims that the two firms will be donating all their profits in the past week to the Israeli army. The same message has also been circulating on Facebook.
Both companies, however, said the message is nonsense.
Singaporeans are not the only ones receiving the message. A check online found people all over the world – including in the United States, Europe, Arab countries and India – discussing the same mobile text message and questioning its authenticity.
Fearing their dollar may be financing a war, some Singaporeans have stopped patronising McDonald’s and Starbucks.
Said 29-year-old finance executive Mohamad Arif: “I refuse to eat or drink at these two places even if I have to go hungry. I don’t want to be involved in the slaughter of innocent people.”

see, singaporeans cares about it alot, as evident by the many articles and reports posted by the same person over and over again. I am sure all the people reading the thread goes through all the words and links on the walls of text.
How can the public expect no civilian casualties in a war when the Hamas militants used human shields as cover. They even wore civilian clothes during the fighting !
When terrorists murdered Israeli children during the intifada, they shouldn't have done it. All these carnage wouldn't have happened.
