than 2 decades.None of a former US President say sorry yet.
I salute the bravest Gordon Brown being so honest.
The whole gavaman of USA and UK in the past 3 decades
have cooked the GDP growth books in the past thus creating

''BRITISH Prime Minister Gordon Brown says he takes "full responsibility" for his role in the nation's banking crisis and should have done more to prevent it.
Mr Brown, who was chancellor for 10 years before taking over from Tony Blair in the country's top job in 2007, said he wished he had launched a campaign demanding tougher regulations for the financial sector a decade ago.
"I take full responsibility for all my actions, but I think we're dealing with a bigger problem that is global in nature, as well as national," Mr Brown told The Guardian
"Perhaps 10 years ago after the Asian crisis when other countries thought these problems would go away, we should have been tougher ... keeping and forcing these issues on to the agenda like we did on debt relief and other issues of international policy."
Mr Brown's comments follow Conservative leader David Cameron's "sorry" for his party's failure to foresee the banking crisis.

The Tories have been calling on Mr Brown to follow suit and apologise.
The British Government has had to inject billions of pounds into some of the country's major lenders including the merged HBOS-Lloyds TSB, Royal Bank of Scotland and Northern Rock to help prevent a meltdown of its financial system.'' -

Well said! But u should say it to your beloved Sg govt. They have never apologised for their mistakes. Maybe that's why they have stagnated if not regressed.
